Shell Gadus S2 OG 20 is a premium-quality, lead-free, and solvent-free extreme pressure (EP) lubricant specifically designed for the lubrication and protection of open gears and wire ropes. Its unique blend of high-quality paraffinic mineral and synthetic base oils, combined with carefully selected additives, ensures optimum performance even under challenging operating conditions.

• Exceptional Physical and Mechanical Stability: Shell Gadus S2 OG 20 retains its natural protective properties over its long working life.
• Excellent Anti-Wear Performance: At working temperatures, speeds, and pressures, it forms a protective cushion between large gears (such as girth and bull gears) and pinion teeth.
• Superb Load Carrying Capacity: The inclusion of molybdenum disulphide and other solid lubricants reduces tooth contact zone temperatures, minimizes gear surface pitting, and alleviates ‘stick-slip’ conditions.
• Water Repellent: Effectively resists water ‘wash-off’ by immersion or spray.
